Terms of Service

Welcome to Wallyo. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Wallyo mobile application and related services (the "Services") provided by Wallyo ("we", "our", or "us").
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
Your use of the Wallyo app constitutes your acceptance of these Terms. We encourage you to read them carefully and to review our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services. By using the Services, you represent that you meet this requirement.
3. Account Registration
To use certain features of the Services (such as Google Drive backup or premium features), you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information when registering.
- Keep your account credentials secure.
- Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account.
4. Subscription Terms
Some features of the Services require a paid subscription ("Premium" or "Pro"), which provides access to automatic Google Drive backup and other premium features. Subscriptions are processed through Apple's In-App Purchase system.
- Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
- Pricing and billing: All subscription fees are set and charged by Apple. Prices may vary by region and are displayed at the time of purchase.
- Cancellation: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your iPhone's Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with Apple's policies. We do not process refunds directly.
5. User Responsibilities
You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and to:
- Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
- Not use the Services in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
- Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services or related systems.
- Not interfere with or disrupt the Services or servers connected to the Services.
- Not use the Services to transmit harmful code, malware, or spam.
- Not collect or harvest information about other users without consent.
6. Intellectual Property
The Services and all associated content, features, and functionality (excluding your data) are owned by Wallyo and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Services without our prior written consent.
You retain ownership of any data you enter into the Services, including budgets, transactions, categories, goals, and other financial information ("User Content"). By using the Services, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your User Content solely to provide the Services to you.
7. Data and Privacy
Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, store, and protect your information. Data is stored locally on your device by default; Google Drive backup is optional and user-controlled. Your data stays with you—we do not store your financial data on our servers. You can export your data and delete your account at any time.
8. Financial Disclaimer
The Services are intended for personal budgeting and financial tracking only. We do not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Information provided through the Services should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional advice. You are solely responsible for your financial decisions.
9. Service Availability
We do not guarantee that the Services will be available at all times, uninterrupted, or error-free. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services (including premium features) with or without notice.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WALLYO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES.
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We are not responsible for any loss of data or damages arising from your use of the Services.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings or by following our Account Deletion process. Upon termination, your right to use the Services will immediately cease. Cancellation of a subscription does not automatically delete your account or data.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Wallyo operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Services shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the effective date above and, where appropriate, through in-app notice or email. Your continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the new Terms, you should stop using the Services.
